The word Santosha means to be "completely content with, accepting and satisfied with ” This lovely and lush series of termly events are mini journeys towards self discovery & self pampering!

SELF LOVE & SELF CARE

Like any relationship, our relationship with ourselves takes patience, practice and a little work. To love and care for ourselves, we must first get to know ourselves, and since we are continually evolving, we need methods of meeting ourselves that can allow for fluctuation in who we feel we are…<

Amanda will lead a deep, exploratory, flowing vinyasa practice to open and strengthen the body. Harmonising fluidity and precision, faster paced and slower movement and poses, this practice creates a very personal connection to our physicality, flow of thoughts and energetic qualities - and all their brilliant variations. We explore where we find most enjoyment in movement, where our strengths lie, where we can bring deep nurturing where most needed and unwind tensions. An uplifting, transformative and replenishing practice. Lots of graceful, joyful movement and easeful stillness, bringing us towards a truly balanced self.

3:45-4:45pm Palmarosa body rub for aching muscles making with Liha Beauty

Liha Okunniwa & Abi Oyepitan, founders of Liha beauty will offer a delightful interactive workshop where we will focus on skin-food recipes fusing british ingredients with traditional Yoruba natural bases and traditional methods
During this workshop we will learn how to make a 100% natural and organic Palmarosa body rub for aching muscles and post workout lotions using Shea butter as a base along with kitchen ingredients and botanical essential oils.
At the end of the day you will take your own created product home!

4:45pm TEA & CAKE BREAK

5pm-6pm YIN & RESTORATIVE SESSION

Deep, juicy stretching followed by deep, nurturing relaxation poses. Body and mind benefit from an opportunity to slow down, to find space within the body for free-flow of all our anatomical systems and to also create a quiet, meditative headspace. High quality rest comes to the body through restorative postures, supported to bring you blissful comfort. Amanda will guide the relaxation and burn essential oils to create a lovely aromatic space for you to sink into sweet repose.
A wonderful treat to spend this extended session nourishing yourself, so that you can re-emerge with fresh energy and perspective - bright, serene and beautifully balanced!

BIOGRAPHIES

AMANDA WALKER is a very experienced yoga teacher. Her background in dance, visual arts and anatomy influences her approach to teaching, bringing creative sequencing to classical poses and a focus on the potential for fluid movement and strength according to the potential of each individual student.

LIHA BEAUTY is Liha Okunniwa & Abi Oyepitan.
Their products are a blend between urban & rural & are, like Liha and Abi's backgrounds, a mixture of natural African roots & a quintessentially British attitude.
Their products are handmade in small batches in Cheltenham and Hackney, they are wild crafted, cold pressed, natural, 100% vegan, cruelty free and free from parabens, sls and chemicals.
