The practice delves into the different types of disciplines I have studied and am influenced by, such as contemporary, floorwork, kathak, boxing and movement practicality.
We will perform drills utilising how expansive the body can be whilst transitioning in and out of the floor as effortlessly as possible. RelaxtoErupt focusses on playfulness, curiosity and pushing our bodies away from where is naturally comfortable in order to find new pathways of moving.
This workshop is designed to allow ourselves the freedom to make mistakes, to investigate areas in the body which are less exploited and to train not for the end product but for the journey we have along the way.
