The Place Prize for Dance 2013 winner Riccardo Buscarini, trained at Accademia Domenichino in Piacenza/IT and London Contemporary Dance School graduating in 2009. Since then he has been presenting - and often performing in - his own work in the UK and internationally. A curious person of eclectic inspirations, Riccardo is an artist focussed on constantly changing his creative approach to choreography driven by a strong desire for the new. His works to date are all quite different.

Riccardo has been teaching choreography and performance at Birkbeck University for 3 years and leading improvisation and composition workshops internationally.

Driven by a passion for sculpture and architecture, and starting from the assumption that our movement can carve the space and leave a trace behind, Riccardo leads a very high-paced, dynamic and spacious improvisation class that aims to unlock the body and stretch its movement potential into a million different directions.

Come dance to the electro-pop. For a very energising morning wake up.
