21st-24th MarchThis class is supported by the TripHazard programme of residencies link
This class explores a release-based approach to floor-work. Through a constant flow combining set exercises and improvisations, we will play with different speeds, textures and qualities of movement.
Léa has worked with José Vidal, Clod Ensemble, Seke Chimutengwende, James Finnemore, Seven Sisters Group, Jean-Guillaume Weis and Peter Groom. For two seasons she worked with the Tanztheater Kassel, Germany, under the direction of Johannes Wieland, where she worked with Johannes Wieland, Michael Langeneckert, Stephanie Thiersch and Chris Haring/Liquid Loft. Her work has been performed in England, Germany, Spain and Luxembourg.
About Lea's research for the TripHazard residency:
I will be working on TOYS a dance-theatre piece that studies contemporary hedonism. I am interested in the inherent theatricality of movement and will research a choreographic language mingling voguing and an insect-like physicality.linkDUO OFFER: 1 MORNING YOGA (9:15-10:15am) + 1 PRO-DANCE TRAINING (10:30-12pm) for £12 We want to encourage dancers to make Yoga an integral part of their training!TRIPKITCHEN'S DANCER MEAL DEAL: a dish of choice from the daily lunch board + a hot drink for £5 Please note this offer is valid only for dancers that have attended class!
