This class is an active yoga practice for mums-to-be throughout their second and third trimesters. The poses are safely adapted to encourage strength, flexibility, balance and ease. The class is a steady pace with plenty of options for all levels of experience and also includes breathing techniques and deep relaxation, both of which are so vital to support and nourish the mother and growing baby. Amanda will also weave in techniques to prepare both the body and mind for birth.
Amanda has been teaching pregnancy yoga as part of her varied yoga teaching practices for several years. It is a practice she loves to teach and creates a welcoming and relaxed space where women can feel totally comfortable. She has studied with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli (an expert in yoga for women) and has specialist qualification in anatomy and teaches in both yoga studios and maternity centres in London.
*Please note that you need to be 13 weeks pregnant to begin the classes. Amanda teaches 1-2-1 sessions with pregnant women during the first trimester. Please ask if you are interested in these private sessions.
