We ask what it is to be Fluid. How can the transportation of fluids which in our bodies such as blood and water open possibilities for us to move other structures in the body.
I want to find out whether ‘flow’ is a cause and effect pathway or whether it is always one of the same substance that continues without change.

My research works parallel with water and Theodor Schwenk’s research in ‘Sensitive Chaos’. Water finds a way to evolve, and move on as a changed state. We use pranayama, shake, the weight of our bones and the push of our flesh to follow our own potential, seeing what already exists in our movement patterns. The class is a combination of lead improvisation and fixed practises. It will involve the use of water so bring a towel…

Bio:

Rosie trained as a dancer in Liverpool at LIPA. She then went to Israel for KCDC’s MASA. At 22 in London she worked as a waitress, babysitter, bartender, dancer, performer, movement director, and choreographer. Collaborations with film makers, photographers and musicians, and for Exzeb, Joss Arnott, and Nina Kov, Rosie is now touring with Lea Tirabasso's Love Me Tender, TOYS and has started with Lea’s new work The Ephemeral Life of An Octopus. In 2015 Rosie joined the Swiss based Dance Collective, Bufo Makmal and Co-Choreographed VIEL.ES ’16 A zur e ’17 and Wishbone ’18. With Kathrin Doppler a transdisiplinary collaboration Sobject, returns from an R&D tour in Cuba. Autumn brings a creation for Peter Groom’s Go Away Johnny and Sarah Toogood Sayer’s Mary. Rosie currently researches for her new creation Flluuiid.
