Becky’s training began in tae kwan do and gymnastics before training in hip-hop, later discovering contemporary dance; her movement is influenced by all of these styles.
Working across commercial dance to art installation, Becky’s experience creates a wholesome practice, incorporating physically challenging and disciplined training which later transforms into movement initiated from emotion and staying connected to the music.
This class will focus on skills for moving on the floor and upside with confidence and speed.
Drawing from contemporary dance techniques and elements from Capoeira we will move with flow, weight and momentum.
