TripCI is a London based contact improvisation collective of 10 experienced CI practitioners, dance artists and teachers from various backgrounds and influences such as BMC, physical theatre, choreography, Feldenkrais, contemporary dance, yoga, massage to name a few.

Our intention is to combine skills and energies in order to contribute to London/UK CI community and stretch its scope and reach, primarily through teaching, performing and having peer support to grow individual and collective practices.

Manuela Sarcone completed her contemporary dance studies at LCDS before joining Bern Ballet. While in Bern, she blew out her knee landing from a bad jump. Contact Improvisation has been an integral part of her return to dance from this life changing injury and her main movement practice since then.
Her performance experience ranges from choreographies for the stage through operas, installations to improvisation work including pieces by Alexander Ekman, Dane Hurst, Rick Nodine, Eva Recacha, and Kirsty Simson among others. Recently she completed her Master Degree in Contemporary Dance with a dissertation that examined the relation between technical training and improvisational practice within CI. Manuela continues to research CI through teaching and practicing.
