During the first 45 minutes we will work from the ground up moving the network of the body in an integrated way allowing the ebb and flow of breath to support the orchestration of movement.
The material will be intelligently sequenced encouraging the body to move with spaciousness and ease and balancing stability, flexibility, smooth transitioning and philosophical depth within the practice.
The tail end of the class will be 30 minutes of juicy and rejuvenating restorative yoga.
We will gradually move towards stillness using warmth and props to fully support passive poses held for longer periods of time. This will allow our body to shed unnecessary tensions, open up, rest and rejuvenate and our minds to feel nourished and clear.
Throughout the class there will be plenty of props and modifications offered, encouraging to perceive each pose as a spectrum of possibilities rather than an idealistic shape.
