Pilates is an approach to whole body conditioning that targets the deep postural muscles, building strength from inside out. It is suitable for everyone irrespective of fitness level, experience or age. Pilates focuses on improving alignment, breathing and core stability. It minimises the risk of injuries and promotes great body awareness through the development of a mind body connection.
Erika trained with STOTT Pilates, AiM movement with Gary Ward, Raja Dhiraja Yoga with Ganga Devi, Vinyasa Yoga with Mollie Morris and Yin Yoga with Sarah Lo.
Erika's extensive background in dance and mindful movement influences her teaching to create a fluid and flowing breath centered class. Erika's class is influenced by her studies of Somatic movement and AiM to encourage ease in the body through functional movement.
Her classes focus on breath, alignment and body awareness to help you increase mobility and build strength whilst re balancing both body and mind.
