Samuel Baxter Facilitates ProDance training
INVITED ARTIST  |  Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.  |  £6
Samuel's personal practice is informed by his education at Northern School of Contemporary Dance (BA Hons), and extensive training in sporting and artistic techniques including Gymnastics, Capoeira, Breaking, Parkour, Tricking, Skateboarding, Bouldering and Hip-Hop styles. As a dancer he has been invited to compete internationally at battles and events such as Kre8, Open Your Mind and WGTF's The Collab in the experimental category. Artistically Samuel has collaborated with companies such as Zoo Nation, James Wilton Dance, Southpaw Dance Company, Company Nil and Hannah Perry Artist. Samuel has worked on film in Tom Hooper's reimagining of CATS, Paul Thomas Anderson, Thom Yorke and Damien Jalet's ANIMA, and Josie Rourke's Mary Queen of Scots, and has worked closely with choreographer Wayne McGregor researching movement for film and Motion Capture projects.

Throughout the week of morning class I will be exploring elements of phrase work and partnering (none contact of course). We will also incorporate tools into different parts of the training to improve coordination and reaction.
