London Movement Connections is back at TripSpace with a weekly Friday series of sessions in which the teachers will deliver a session based around their interpretation of the notion of “movement uncategorised”.
We will look to move from a broader perspective without the need of placing a title or frame as a way of investigating what this does to the dynamics of our movement and creativity.
The awesome and inspiring line up is as follows;
1st March - Leila McMillan
8th March - Zoë Solomons
15th March - Lewis Wilkins
22nd March - Paul Ranson *
(All sessions 3pm@tripspace except * 5pm Highgate woods)
Through categorising movement into different arts, sports and disciplines we can focus our practise and specialise in the areas of our choice.
However, what is movement when we take away the frame of categorisation, can it potentially free us from the restrictions of form and allow for more expression and freedom whilst still maintaining a feeling of quality?
You are invited to join this mini investigation. The sessions are open to all those interested in the broad subject of movement and the more varied the experience and background of the participants the better.
