SUN 30th March 2014 |
£8 person/£30 per family of 4
The Toy Symphony is a fun concert for children and adults.
The Drones play original acoustic music and songs with cello, mandolin,
clarinet, percussion, car parts, toys, birdcalls, musical saw, items from the garden shed...
Most of the pieces involve sounds made by toys combined with The Drones' many
instruments. Birds, helliballoons and horns whirl through the air, the duck chorus joins
in on one song. It is quite likely that some of the music will come from behind or among the audience as well as the stage.
There will be plenty of opportunity for children and their families to join in and tunes that
will appeal to adults and children alike.
Adults often say it's the thing they have taken their children to that they have enjoyed
the most. At the end the stage is always knee deep in children inspecting and trying out the toys and instruments'
The drones will play a 50 minute set.
