Dear fellow mover, performance maker and dance creator:
this overview is for you.
As we delve into the third week of Trip Studio's life:
We aim to propose fairly regular initiatives of professional development that together with being useful can also become good excuses for professional gathering.
We hope that some of these appointments will suit you and that those diaries & journals will appreciate some of TripSpace's colourfulness!
Here are some dates:Monday evenings: Breath, Voice and Singing with Jamie McCarthy
Tuesday afternoons: The performing Body Co-taught by Niamh McKernan and Sarah Scharf
Wednesday evenings: Contact Improvisation with Rick Nodine and Simonetta Alessandri
30th Sept-3rd of October
shared space for independent makers and companies of two, booking required
7th-10th of October:
Petra Soor teaches class 10:30am-12:00pm
Based on her practice as a freelance performer and maker, Petra will lead a movement class consisting of travelling floor patterns, “somatics aerobics” (influenced by the swedish community exercise from “Friskis and Svettis) and improvisation.
14th-17th of October:
Thomas Goodwin teaches class 10:30am-12:00 pm ( £4.50)
Thomas explores qualities of bounce, yield and swing in short movement cycles, supported by influences including Tai Chi and Bartenieff fundamentals.
In the afternoons, 12:30pm-2 pm, Thomas will also lead Autumn Tai Chi ( £5, £1 off if you attend earlier ProClass or if you book all four afternoons)
28th October-31st October
Zoe Solomons teaches proclass
Zoe explores: Fascial fluidity.
The aim of this class is to have fun moving your body. By deepening our experience of fascia, we can melt in rivers of momentum or condense to bear-like strength. Through cyclical phrases or improvisation, deep slow builds to glide, bounce, groove and sweat.
Last but not least: watch out for two weeks of intensive workshops.
Mon 11th-- Fri 15th of November

Mon 18th-Fri 22nd November
