We are absolutely delighted to welcome Rachel Perry amongst the TripYoga teachers!
She will be teaching Wednesdays 6:45-7:45
Rachel began practising Yoga when she was a professional dancer, it wasn’t long until the ‘fling’ became a relationship. After some years of daily practise she decided to turn my passion into my profession.
She completed an intensive 200 hour vinyasa flow yoga teacher training with Yoga London in 2011 and then went on to complete my advanced studies with that same school. At present she am an experienced 500 hour yoga teacher and massage therapist.
Her vinyasa flow yoga classes are light hearted, energetic alignment focussed, playful yet challenging, expect to come away from class felling uplifted, aligned and Nourished!
As her exploration of the asanas (yoga postures) deepens she have become interested in the power of restorative yoga which is a much softer and quieter practise. She decided to dive into another teacher training. She completed an intensive restorative yoga teacher training with Anna Ashby in 2012.
Her restorative yoga classes support feelings of ease, release and nourishment. You may find that doing a little can leave a big impression.
Most recently Rachel completed an intensive pregnancy yoga teacher training with uma Dinsmore-Tuli and Lisa White.
In 2014 Rachel began her study of holistic massage therapy with Bodyology London and after a year of vigorous training and practise she qualified with the governing body MTI. Since then Rachel has been studying Myofascial release techniques and Rieki healing.
The study and practise of holistic massage therapy has helped increase her understanding of the human body and its inner workings. Rachel endeavours to intertwine the stress reducing qualities of both massage and yoga to as many people as possible!
