LUCY WILL TEACH MONDAYS 5:30-6:30PM FROM THE 22ND OF AUGUST 2016
Lucy McCarthy's yoga journey began many years ago on a rooftop in India. She fell immediately in love with this beautiful, peace-inducing practice and has never looked back. After studying traditional Hatha Yoga in Rajasthan, India, she trained with Max Strom in America, whom she now assists on his trainings around the world. She has also completed over 1000 hours of training in a diverse array of traditions and styles including Anusara inspired vinyasa with Sianna Sherman and Meghan Currie, Forrest with the infamous Ana Forrest as well as studying yogic philosophy, meditation and pranayama under the guidance of Louisa Sear, Rose Baudin and Clive Sheridan.
Lucy teaches mindful, breath and alignment based vinyasa flow.
Passionate about the physical, spiritual and emotional benefits of yoga, her classes encourage being open to whatever is in your heart and mind when you arrive on the mat.
Lucy is also highly skilled in leading restorative and pregnancy yoga sessions, and she is profoundly influenced by her Vipassana meditation practice. With a gratitude for all the teachers before her that have inspired her path, Lucy teaches from a place of warmth and wisdom.
Lucy's class is a fluid, breath and alignment based vinyasa flow class. Expect fun, mindful, intelligently sequenced, uplifting, diverse, full spectrum classes including asana (postures) pranayama (breath exercises) meditation and yogic philosophy that reflect Lucy's broad influences and passion for all things yoga.
