Sirsa: Head, Asana:Seat/Posture: otherwise known as Tripod Headstand.
-Do plenty of work on strengthening the shoulders and core before attempting this pose and always start out with a teacher present.
-Big Tip! Make sure your two hands and the crown of your head make a triangle constellation, NOT a line. You should be able to see your hands in your periphery.
-Once you have set up the base triangle have a go at curling one leg in, knee bent and resting on top of the arm. Try the other side and if you feel steady try both.
-Once the legs are in then draw the thighs a little closer and play slowly with unfurling the legs upwards.
High or low blood pressure/heart problems
Thank you Claire for the pic!
