Ana Dias


Ana, originally from Portugal, moved to London to further her training in contemporary dance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire.
Taking good care of her body was a big part of Ana's routine. However, her first 'true' encounter with yoga was in 2012 while working as a professional dancer. It was a key component to Ana's rehabilitation after sustaining a knee injury and so, after that, she continued her practice alongside her work as a dancer.
Finding numerous benefits in the practice - from the most obvious such as strength and flexibility to more concentration and better dealing with frustrations and stress of the daily life of a freelancer - Ana felt compelled to share these breakthroughs with others around her. She then finally took the plunge and went training in Ashtanga Vinyasa and Rocket with The Yoga People in London.
Ana believes yoga has something to offer everyone. Her classes focus on building full body awareness, strength and developing a more supple body. The class stems from continuous movement deeply connected with the breath making the practice a moving meditation.
Ana is currently delivering Rocket/Dynamic Yoga, Mandala Vinyasa and Yin Yoga classes across London
