Gillian is certified in the Jivamukti Yoga method, having trained with David Life and Petros Haffenrichter and Restorative Yoga, having trained with Adelene Cheong.
Growing up in a musical family led her to a love of dance and a professional training in musical theatre. With motivation to share movement in a group environment, she taught physical exercise classes including Pilates for twenty years.
An inclusive, friendly, safe space to explore the practice are important values to her; all are welcome.
Jivamukti classes are rooted in the five tenets. Practice devotional chanting, meditation and flowing vinyasa sequences supported by hands on assists, an uplifting sound track and a theme inspired by a sacred text.
