Based on Peeping Tom's show: 32 RUE DE VANDENBRANDEN, Jos Baker's workshop will look at tools and techniques used by the company to develop interesting and individual movement and theatrical ideas and scenes.
This workshop is ideal for dancers, actors and choreographers with and interest in dance-theatre

32 RUE DE VANDENBRANDEN is an unforgettable piece of dance theatre depicting a foreboding universe of cold, wind and ice: six performers contort, bend, jerk and levitate in dizzying scenes of hypnotic movement and jaw-dropping physicality. It will be at The Barbican 28th-31st of January as part of The Mime Festival

Jos Baker's Bio

Jos is based in Brussels.
He started working with Peeping Tom in 2008 for the creation of 32 Rue Vandenbranden [2009], and subsequently A Louer [2011] under the direction of Gabriella Carrizo and Franck Chartier. Since then he briefly joined DV8 for the creation of John[2014] and has since been working independently. He created a piece for the launch of Petit Bateau's Cedric Charlier collection in 2014, and is currently working on a sole entitled Of no fixed abode. Jos also danced for Antonin Comoestaz for his piece Plastic Junkies[2014] and made a music video for the song Forgot to live [2013] by Ay Wing.
