L'antigonie by Consensus Cie.

L'antigonie is an approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes long piece of music and contemporary dance which re-contextualizes the myth of Antigone contemporaniously exploring the body states characters are going through as well as the embodiment of frustration and tragedy.

In collaboration for the second time with Greek composer Gregory Emfietzis since Défigure sur la plage inerte last March 2014, young free lance choreographer Aline Derderian will take this opportunity to make a tribute to her Armenian origins for the hundred anniversary of the Armenian genocide of 1915 in her own way, involving Armenian dance basis and its folklore to a more conceptual and minimalist aesthetic.
