Claudia Catarzi 40.000 centimetri quadrati

Choreography and performance Claudia Catarzi
Lighting design Massimiliano Calvetti
Production Company Blu  with the support  of  MiBac and  Tuscany Region selected for “Visionari/Kilowatt festival 2014” and Vetrina XL 2015 the video promo is shortlisted at "IDILL/Charleroi danses”

One body, reduced to the essential, brings itself to the limited space of the stage. Catarzi starts from the desire to rediscover what only the body can discover. Performed on a sound board created in collaboration with Massimiliano Calvetti, 40.000 centimetri quadrati allows constriction to bring adaptation and ideas to reside in movement itself, with its unconditional honesty.

"Everything is reduced to the essential in this solo which lasts just twenty-five minutes, but the accuracy of the execution, and the  cleanliness of the movements are such that the viewer is emotionally involved  from the very beginning."
Graziano Graziani, Paese Sera/La voce di Roma, 3.07.2014
