A single evening in which will be introduced Zazen, the Zen sitting meditation (called shikantaza sitting for nothing) and Kinhin the walking meditation. Will be an experiential evening in which we will explore and experience that when we stop our activity based on this body image point of view, instantly life express itself. For this kind of evening there is no fee to pay but rather a free offer, that is also a very important principle in the Zen education.

Pasquale Esposito is a Zen monk (Soto) and a professional actor. As an actor he works professionally in theatre and in the film industry in Italy. He studied, collaborated and taught acting for Dominique De Fazio at the Studio De Fazio in Italy, Germany and Los Angeles. After different years of Zen practice Pasquale was officially ordained in 2001 at the Fudenji Zen Temple in Italy by the Abbot’s Temple Fausto Taiten Guareschi. Pasquale is the president of the Zen Cultural Association "Flowers in the Sky" through which he proposes Zen events.

Being a Zen monk and an actor forces him to research expression and communication in depth and he offers his research in workshops and retreats (in Italy, Germany and London) about expression and communication from a Zen education’s point of view ( He also has been certified by the I.I.F.A.B ( to guide and lead Bioenergetic Exercise groups and classes. He practiced Chi Gong with various world-recognized Chinese Masters. Also he has studied Kundalini Yoga and the martial art of Aikido for many years. A very important part of his education comes from the “Gurdjeff’s teaching” which he follows in Rome, Los Angeles and London. Pasquale wrote, produced and directed a documentary “In The Right Light” and lately with his Research Company the play “A looking Glass” in Munich. He is currently preparing a new project on Fernano Pessoa that will take place in UK. For his passion to keep himself awake he practices boxing at an amateur level.
