During this detailed series of Thai Massage Workshops we will travel the whole Body from the feet up to the head, as in the traditional way of this ancient Thai Healing Art.
You can join us for one, few or all the steps we will take to journey along the temple of our Body.
If our Body is healthy, open and free of blockages, so are our Mind & Soul.
Step by step we will be working each part of the body applying weird & wonderful techniques ranging from palming, pressure points, and stretching. We will learn to use the whole of our body to achieve incredible results. And if our home is healthy and clear of blockages, so are our mind & soul.
A complete Thai Yoga Massage is a beautifully choreographed & meditative dance with & around the body of your receiver, which will make you both feel energised, relaxed and balanced on a physical & energetic level. It’s a bit like doing yoga & having yoga done to you!
#3. Hips -13th Apr
Hips: the seat of emotions, the link to the lower back and the upper body, the base of the spine that journeys to the higher self. They support the weight of our body in both static and dynamic postures. One of the most important joints of the body, by nature one of the most flexible but generally very tight in sedentary life.
During this workshop we will free the hips of imbalances and open them up to gain freedom of movement. We will work into the largest muscle of the body, the gluteus maximus, which will indirectly but powerfully influence the lower back, helping us transition to the next session.
This is the third of a series of 8 encounters.
Each session is independent so one can book for single sessions, however all sessions are interdependent: so if you attend more than one you will be able to make connections and build upon what you have learnt!

Danila developed an interest in bodywork in the late 90s when she started practicing Yoga and fell in love with Traditional Thai Massage. After studying in Thailand, she obtained an ITEC Diploma in Anatomy Physiology and Massage and to this day continues to evolve her practice by attending post graduate courses, workshops and getting as many massages as she can to keep her inspiration alive.
Her approach to massage is very holistic and fuses traditional bodywork techniques based on Energy Lines with Western skills and anatomical knowledge. Both systems are essential in achieving unity and optimal health for our bodies and minds; when functioning together, they create a better communication and a healthy range of mobility and structure throughout the body.
Danila is a member of the CThA and holds a Teaching Certificate from the International Thai Massage school (ITM) in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
