3rd Lockdown: feeling stuck, perhaps lonely & bored, hunching over our desk & devices, watching endless TV series, maybe working too much, walking too little, living in worry or fear, feeling the uncertainty of these times and digesting the endless flow of news.
Let's take a moment: a moment for ourselves, a moment to thank our bodies for everything they do for us, to replenish our energies and open up our chest to the possibility of deep breathing, of calm & grounding. A moment to feel the touch we are so deprived of.
I will take you through some simple and effective techniques to release tension accumulated in the Neck & Shoulders, opening up the chest and relaxing the upper spine, improving your range of motion and breath capacity
We are offering this session on a Donation basis: all proceeds will go to feed local families: Hackney Foodbank is run by local people for local people who are in desperate need during this crisis.
Danila developed an interest in bodywork in the late 90s when she started practicing Yoga and fell in love with Traditional Thai Massage. After studying in Thailand, she obtained an ITEC Diploma in Anatomy Physiology and Massage and to this day continues to evolve her practice by attending post graduate courses, workshops and getting as many massages as she can to keep her inspiration alive. Her approach to massage is very holistic and fuses traditional bodywork techniques based on Energy Lines with Western skills and anatomical knowledge. Both systems are essential in achieving unity and optimal health for our bodies and minds; when functioning together, they create a better communication and a healthy range of mobility and structure throughout the body. Danila is a member of the CThA and holds a Teaching Certificate from the International Thai Massage school (ITM) in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
