Jivamukti Yoga and Kirtan

Join Harriet and Luis to shift your vibrations, tune your frequencies & cut through the mundane: go beyond.

This session will comprise of physical practice, pranayama and chanting: Kirtan.

Kirtan is one of the pillars of yoga: from the Sanskrit root 'kir- to cut': to cut through the thinking mind and obtain freedom from delusion and separation, a chance to go beyond using your body and voice.

Nada Yoga- the yoga of sound is one of the 5 tenets of Jivamukti Yoga, thus music and chanting is an essential part of this method.

Simple sanskrit chants and mantras, many of which you will recognise from class, will be explored from the Jivamukti chant book.
