Beginner Yoga Workshop

Just getting started or coming back from a break? Gain confidence, learn the fundamentals and build a great foundation on which to attend yoga classes or start a home practice. Everyone can practice yoga, the key is just begin wherever you are.

This 2 hour workshop will help you understand what Yoga is, the basics of a practice and the ancient philosophy that underpins it. Yoga postures with then be explored and broken down in a relaxed and accessible way. You will learn standing poses, forward & back bending, twists and some basic inversions. Breath and alignment will be focused on to create a stable and safe practice; exploring how the practice can become a moving meditation.

Come with an open mind and a willingness to explore.
