Using Fitzmaurice Voicework to Make New Connections With Your Work
SAT 19th September 2015  |  4 p.m.-9 p.m.
A workshop for actors, singers, dancers and performers

Fitzmaurice Voicework® is a holistic approach to voice training for artists based on body methods such as yoga, bioenergetics and shiatsu. By integrating physical freedom and mental awareness, the work develops both vibrant bodies and voices that can better communicate intentions and feelings.

In this workshop, participants will explore the dynamics between body, breath, voice, imagination, language, and presence in relation to a specific piece that each participant will choose to work on. Bring your monologue, song or movement solo piece to find greater freedom, power and connection with both your work and your audience.

Esther Pallejà, Associate Teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework® and Grinberg Practitioner, is a voice & movement instructor at EOLIA, Institut del Teatre, VASTA (Voice & Speech Trainers Association), Rose Bruford College (London), and gives workshops across North America and Europe. She also works with private clients to bring about more self-awareness and a greater sense of wellbeing. Esther is a graduate of Institut del Teatre de Barcelona and has performed for the stage and TV
