The Architecture of Inversions

Building on the foundations set in Inversion Immersion, this workshop will explore how to develop a practice that integrates graceful, easeful inversions. Flow though fun, challenging and specific sequencing designed to strengthen and lengthen you to prepare your body for a more advanced exploration of the upside down postures.

We will look at how to properly prepare the body to avoid injury, and will dissect the key elements of finding balance. Targeted warm ups, workshopping alignment and partner work will be integrated into a creative flow taking you on a journey into discovering new possibilities in your practice.

Open to all, some inversion experience recommend.

Biography Paula (pronounced Paola), is a classically trained yoga teacher with a background in Capoeira Angola. Her yoga journey began at the age of 14 when her sister took her to a local class, and at 18 she ventured to India to explore it's traditional roots. Since then she has been practicing under the guidance of Nicole Arons of Soma Yoga for the past 10 years, and was classically trained as a teacher in the Indian Himalayas by Ganga Devi of the Himalayan Yoga Institute.
